Namaste’ Beloved Mark,
Wishing you all love & light, continued health and happiness and offering my humble gratitude for the way you shared your understanding of Sri Krishnamacharya’s teachings with me in 2006…after teaching for nearly 10 years with Integral Yoga as my foundation and now having practiced for the past 18 months as you showed me, I feel that I now am able to share authentic Yoga with my students in a truly mutual exchange…helping them as well as myself learn to do our Yoga…After 9 years at the ashram, I have moved about an hour or so away to the area I have been teaching in for the past 6 years…my long time students graciously accepted the shift in the way the class now is presented, no longer adapting to a style, they now adapt their Yoga to themselves…( I feel this is partly to do with their trust in me and our relationship over the years and mainly the teachings themselves ). I have been blessed with an opportunity to serve as a family therapist where the same teachings and approach to understanding of relationships support me daily in my work with families who are suffering and in crisis… AND… the founder of our group is a wonderful man who recognizes the value and benefit of these practices and has asked me to teach to my fellow therapists as well so I am also offering 2 classes a week at our offices in Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia… Happy Birthday and thank you again…
